Job Description

A client leading in the environmental services and waste management sector is seeking experienced Code 14 Drivers (PDP) on an adhoc basis for their Shongweni Depot Situated inland, between Hillcrest and Camperdown, along the N3. This role requires professional and reliable drivers with extensive experience in transporting dangerous goods. The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport hazardous materials safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo is handled and secured according to safety standards
  • Maintain accurate delivery and compliance documentation
  • Follow all legal and company safety procedures
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and management
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and safety at all times.
  • Matric (Grade 12) - non-negotiable
  • Valid Code 14 Driver's Licence with PDP
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of road safety and hazardous material regulations.
Important Process Note:
  • Candidates will be required to undergo practical driver assessments at the depot
  • Successful candidates will proceed to onboarding, including background checks and document verification.
