Minimum Requirements Grade: 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.Previous experience as an in managerial positionComputer literate - MS Outlook, Excel, Word. MS Teams/Zoom.Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends and stock takes after hoursWillingness to be moved from store to store if and when need beWillingness and ability to undertake physical hands-on tasks Competencies An absolute passion for the productGood interpersonal & communication skillsConscientious, attentive to detail, accurateGood staff management and development skillsSense of urgency, enthusiasm and high energy levelAssertivenessCustomer centric approachAbility to work under pressureMotivation, self confidence and the use of initiativeTeam player who is results driven Key Responsibilities Customer Journey: Customer centric approachEnsuring customer service standards are rigorously appliedAttending to all customer service requests, advertising on product and services.Ensure that VM standards are adhered to and execution of all plans and promotions. People Management: (Assist Store Manager with functions) Manage all people related aspects on an ongoing bases for staff.Able to deal with employee shortcomings if/when needed.Assist with recruitment on a store level according to company policy and procedures.Assist with Identify training and Development initiatives for employees.Assist with performance management - focus on talent management and succession planning.Able to lead and manage a team of employees.Assist with identify training initiatives and develop staff accordingly. Daily Operations/Stock Management/Risk Management: Opening and locking of store in accordance with the company security proceduresConducting start & end of day reporting and proceduresConducting administration (staff scheduling & leave, invoices, pricing, costs, floats & banking, expense control, reconciliations, CDC and head office instructions etc) per company standards and proceduresEnsuring merchandise is offloaded, captured, packed, merchandised & displayed per company policyMonitoring quality and controlling soilage of merchandise and taking appropriate actionControlling shrinkageEnsure that OHS standards are adhered to at all times Sales/Promotions: Promoting sales to achieve budgets and monitoring sales, turnover and participation.Conducting promotionsImplementation of markdowns and RTC's If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
