Key Responsibilities

As the Clinical Governance Lead you will oversee a safe and high quality occupational health assessments, through ensuring subcontractor adherence to the Clinical Governance Framework for Defence Force Recruiting services.

You will work with the medical and psychological services sub contractor to ensure adherence to the framework and associated plans.

  • Lead clinical governance and ensure high quality healthcare compliance.
  • Oversee audits, reporting, and adherence to clinical standards.
Location
  • Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane locations considered.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Health Services, you will apply your experience in a senior clinical role in nursing or allied health, to conduct annual audits, quality assurance checks and chair required meetings to ensure compliance with the framework. You will also manage all associated reporting, information and data.

Candidate's Profile

Tertiary qualified clinician (nursing or allied health) with 3+ years in a senior or lead role.

  • Defence experience will be given preference.
  • Effective communication including written and verbal communication, report writing, and adaptive communication to suit diverse audiences.
  • Understanding of compliance, documentation standards and data handling to ensure governance and information management.
  • Relationship building and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Previous experience as a senior clinician in nursing or allied health.
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic to deliver high quality, consistent, and accurate outcomes.
