Job PurposeThe Department of the Premier, Western Cape, Government seeks a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide supply chain management support services to all internal and external clients.
Key Performance Areas- Bid Administration and Management and Secretariat Function for all Quotation Committees
- Bid Specifications, Bid Evaluation Committee's and Advisory function to all SCM Committees
- Manage the Electronic Purchasing System
- Contract Administration
- Managing RT contracts
- Compliance verification of requisitions
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification) or higher
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
- National Treasury regulations (NTR's)
- Provincial Treasury Directives/Instructions (PTI's)
- Broad knowledge on procurement activities
- Procurement policies/procedures/contract management
- Policies of the government of the day, especially the provincial growth and development strategy of the Western Cape
- Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Communication skills (written and verbal)
R 338,106 - R 398,277 per annum (Salary level 7)
