Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and service-driven Chief Concierge for a luxury hotel based in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for guest relations, exceptional organisational skills, and a strong knowledge of local experiences and services.
Position: Live-out
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the concierge desk
- Lead, train and supervise the concierge team
- Provide personalised guest assistance, including restaurant bookings, transport arrangements, and activity reservations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local service providers and suppliers
- Ensure guests receive accurate information and exceptional service at all times
- Handle guest requests, special arrangements and problem resolution efficiently
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, events, and experiences
- Ensure concierge services reflect the standards of a luxury hospitality environment
- Work closely with front office and guest relations teams to enhance the overall guest experience
- Previous experience as a Chief Concierge or Senior Concierge in a luxury hotel environment
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Extensive knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding attractions
- Exceptional organisational and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced hospitality environment
- Professional presentation and a guest focused approach
