Running With Thieves - Port Hedland

Overlooking the Ocean Channel and Spoilbank Marina, Running With Thieves, Port Hedland, is opening our doors in the second half of 2026.

Our Vision is to create a welcoming, modern coastal venue that reflects the rhythm of life in the Northwest - relaxed, genuine, and built around community connection. We see a dynamic, family-inclusive venue that captures Hedland's coastal character, a destination that locals callhomeand visitorscan'tstop talking about. Our venue will evolve throughout the day, offering breakfast and coffee for early risers, casual dining for families and workers, and a lively bar and events atmosphere as the sun sets over the Marina.

With multiple kitchens, bars, function spaces, family friendly areas including a playground, RWT will have something for everyone. The venue willshowcaselocal Pilbara and Western Australian produce, RWT craft beers, and seasonal menus suited to the climate and coastal lifestyle.

We are now seeking kitchen staff to help us bring our vision to life. We have multiple positions available to commence in the second half of 2026 when our opening date is announced.

Jnr Sous Chefs. Responsible for assisting the head chef with the day-to-day Kitchen operations, including rostering, staff supervision, ordering, food prep and quality control. Two fulltime 38 hour per week positions available offering a salary $79k - 83k per annum.

Chef de Parties'. Responsible for food preparation, maintaining food hygiene and safety standards, managing your section, assisting with the supervision and training of junior chefs. We have 8 fulltime 38 hour per week positions available offering a salary of $75,770 - $77,000. Casual positions paying HIGA L6 are also on offer.

Commis and Demi Chefs. Responsible for food preparation, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, cooking and ensuring quality standards are met. Multiple FT, PT or casual positions available paying HIGA award rates.

All positions must hold relevant qualifications and a food safety certificate.
