Lead the development and deployment of innovative analytics products across the Africa and Middle East region, creating and increasing business value for markets and their commercial teams. The role combines product management, analytics, and business strategy, with a critical focus on ensuring regional markets are equipped to make confident, data driven decisions. You will be accountable for a team that defines the product vision, drives the roadmap, and owns delivery outcomes.

This role requires a strong ability to translate data into commercial value and to understand the unique context, priorities, and challenges of diverse markets spanning Africa and the Middle East. You will bridge the gap between global analytics capability and local market needs, ensuring that products are not only deployed but are actively driving decision making at both a regional and in country level. This is a high visibility role with strong exposure to senior leaders, data science teams, commercial partners, and market stakeholders across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the portfolio level vision, strategy, and roadmap across a suite of analytics products, ensuring alignment to business priorities, a clear path to value for each product, commercial impact, key dependencies, and value realisation trajectory to enable informed prioritisation and resource allocation decisions.
  • Actively drive value delivery and governance across the Africa and Middle East region, ensuring analytics products are delivering measurable impact at both regional and in country level, and that appropriate standards, accountability, and oversight are maintained across the portfolio.
  • Monitor product performance across the portfolio using analytics and KPIs, driving continuous improvements to user experience, adoption, and value realisation at both regional and in country level.
  • Guide and mentor a team of Analytics Product Managers in best practices across the full product lifecycle, from ideation through to deployment and adoption, fostering their growth as product practitioners.
  • Ensure that detailed product requirements and specifications are developed to a high standard across the portfolio, in close collaboration with product owners and technical teams.
  • Identify and actively manage key risks across the portfolio - including delivery, adoption, and strategic risks - escalating where appropriate and coaching the team to develop risk awareness and mitigation skills.
  • Guide the team in coordinating change management activity alongside product deployments, ensuring markets across Africa and the Middle East are prepared, supported, and set up for successful adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners - including commercial stakeholders, data scientists, engineering teams, and global analytics leadership - to align on roadmap, portfolio priorities and resolve competing demands.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment at a senior level through clear communication, structured portfolio updates, and effective expectation management across multiple workstreams.
  • Translate broader business challenges into portfolio level analytics strategies, enabling the team to develop solutions that generate measurable impact for markets and commercial teams across the region.
  • Evaluate the competitive landscape to ensure the analytics product portfolio maintains its relevance and leadership in the marketplace.
Qualifications
  • MSc in a quantitative related field; equivalent work experience accepted.
  • 8+ years in a product/tech/consulting or analytics role.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
Must Have
  • Strong communication, project and stakeholder management & structured problem solving.
  • Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to non technical audiences and executive management.
  • Experience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, etc.).
  • Able to translate analysis and conclusions into actionable recommendations that delivery business value.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritise projects and multiple projects across the team.
  • Proven experience in managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Experience in data analysis, machine learning or related field.
