Role Overview

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Associates to join our dynamic Mobile Care Team and provide clinical services in patients' homes. As a Clinical Associate you will provide clinical care to patients through performing home visits and clinical call outs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of healthcare and contribute to the advancement of telemedicine.

Responsibilities
  • Perform home visits to patients requiring in person assessments, treatments, or follow ups, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Provide high quality virtual care services to patients through video and telephonic consultations utilising our advanced telehealth platform.
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and review medications following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Utilise your clinical knowledge and experience to offer patients evidence based medical advice and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including medical doctors, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the Quro Medical Insight Platform our dynamic electronic medical record (EMR) system, adhering to relevant privacy and confidentiality regulations.
  • Maintain open communication with patients, addressing their concerns and providing education and guidance regarding their health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in telehealth, hospital at home and clinical medicine, attend regular training sessions, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Clinical Medical Practice (BCMP) with active registration with HPCSA.
  • 1 2 years of experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence based medicine and ability to apply clinical guidelines appropriately.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex medical information clearly and compassionately.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, technology driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as per operational requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for home visits.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting clinical staff and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with colleagues, patients, and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to assist and support others, adapt to changing circumstances, and contribute to team goals.
