BROKER SALES & SUPPORT UNDERWRITER

ASI Insure is an established short term insurance brokerage with a national footprint. We're looking for a Broker Sales & Support Underwriter to provide technical, administrative, and sales support to our brokers and underwriting team in Bryanston, Johannesburg. Be the support behind the brokers who drive growth.

• Support brokers with new business quotations, renewals, and endorsements
• Capture underwriting data and prepare policy documentation
• Liaise with clients to obtain underwriting requirements
• Communicate with insurers to obtain terms and resolve queries
• Track pipeline business and ensure timely follow ups
• Maintain accurate policy records and ensure FAIS & FICA compliance
• Provide product and sales support, including cross selling and upselling opportunities
• Assist the sales team with reports, presentations, and policy summaries

• 2-3 years' experience in short term insurance (support, admin, or sales environment)
• FAIS compliant, including RE5, short term insurance related qualification, class of business: personal lines, ongoing CPD requirements
• Solid understanding of underwriting processes and insurance products
• Strong attention to detail and client service orientation
• Proficient in MS Office and insurance administration systems
• Well organised, proactive, and eager to grow within the insurance industry
