The Bid Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Bid Team overall. They will assist with driving the overall coordination of bids which will include compilation of bid documents, gathering of bid information, contacting relevant stakeholders and discussions with internal staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Responsibility for driving all assigned tenders and coordinating the teams required
- Completion, compilation and contribution toward tender documentation and all related deliverables
- Review and quality assurance on all bids
- Oversee the set-up of projects on the digital bid platform and any other databases
- Interface with clients and consultants where necessary
- Ability to work independently on certain tasks but always under the guidance of the bid team management
- Oversee the periodic checking of all company databases/websites for opportunities
- Other tasks as assigned
- Diploma or Degree in Construction or Engineering (preferred). Other relevant qualification will be considered.
- At least 2 - 5 years' experience in the built environment
- Have a valid driver's license
- Good understanding of MS Office, specifically MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail across all aspects of work and documentation
- Be self-driven, ethical, assertive, and delivery oriented.
- Team player
- Clear and logical written and verbal communication
- Advanced organizational, time and planning skills
- Must be able to manage several tasks simultaneously, and prioritize as necessary
