Beechcraft 1900 Captain - Charter & Rotational Operations
Job Description
As a Beechcraft 1900 Captain, you will command end-to-end charter operations, uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance, and deliver a dependable experience for our clients. You are deadline-driven, precise, and self-disciplined-equally comfortable leading a crew and working independently in demanding environments.
What You'll Do- Plan and execute charter flights to schedule, ensuring regulatory compliance, SOP adherence, and exemplary airmanship.
- Perform thorough preflight planning including performance, W&B, fuel, alternates, and operational risk assessment.
- Operate safely in diverse environments, including mountainous, desert, and cold-weather conditions as required.
- Lead effective CRM, mentor crew, and maintain strong communication with operations and ground teams.
- Manage flight documentation, tech logs, and dispatch requirements with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Represent the operation professionally with clients and stakeholders while maintaining mission focus in higher-risk regions.
- Able and willing to undertake contract rotations of approximately 6-9 weeks.
- Able and willing to fly charter from Lanseria if Johannesburg-based.
- Willing to travel and operate in high-risk areas.
- Deadline-driven with the ability to work accurately and independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail; self-disciplined, trustworthy, and dependable.

- Total Time: 3,000+ hours
- PIC Time: 1,500+ hours
- In Type (B1900): 500+ hours
- PIC in Type: 350+ hours
- Multi-Engine: 500+ hours
- Type Rating: Required (Beechcraft 1900)
- License Required: ATPL
- Accepted Licenses: ICAO
- Medical: Class 2
- ICAO ELP: Level 4
- Afghanistan or similar operational exposure is advantageous, particularly in mountainous, desert, and cold-weather environments.
