Automotive Quality Engineer - Integrated Business Management Systems

Are you an experienced Auditor with a strong background in quality, environmental, and health & safety systems?

A well-established manufacturing organisation based in Stanger is seeking a Automotive Quality Engineer - (IBMS) to lead and drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of integrated management systems.

This is a senior-level role suited to someone who thrives in a structured, compliance-driven environment and has a deep understanding of ISO standards and auditing processes. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the business.

• Lead and coordinate the development and continuous improvement of the Integrated Business Management System (IBMS)
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949 standards
• Conduct system and process audits, ensuring timely closure of findings
• Oversee documentation control and ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements
• Support and guide departments on quality-related training and audit readiness
• Manage and monitor QMS processes and procedures in line with latest standards and CSR requirements
• Drive root cause analysis and failure management systems, reporting findings to Quality
• Interface with multiple departments and stakeholders across the business
• Compile detailed audit reports and provide actionable recommendations

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field (Essential)
• B-Tech / Degree in Engineering (Advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years' experience auditing ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 19011 standards
• Minimum 5 years' experience in SHEQ auditing within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of Quality Core Tools
• At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory or similar role
• VDA 6.3:2016 Process Auditor certification (Advantageous)
• Proven experience in implementing and maintaining integrated management systems
