He/She will assist to deliver the Alumni Giving and Faculty & Staff Giving Programmes, which are part of a comprehensive portfolio of other giving programs to grow the donor pipeline at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.The incumbent will work closely with the teams within the University Advancement Office to ensure increased philanthropic giving to the University in support of its strategic priorities from donors including alumni, staff, and members of the wider University community, as measured in income, donor numbers, and in terms of participation, acquisition and recurring rates of donors. Key Responsibilities: Strategy and Leadership Provide leadership and direction to the strategic development, planning, execution and evaluation of the alumni giving and faculty & staff giving programmes to ensure appropriate engagement, solicitation and stewardship strategies are implemented and fundraising goals and targets are achieved. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns and the development of tailored giving programs. Work collaboratively within the University Advancement Office and Schools with relevant staff across the University to set priorities for annual giving to ensure that fundraising programmes are aligned and integrated within the wider fundraising strategy of the University Advancement Office. Identify and/or qualify donors or prospects with larger giving capacity and communicate with the Leadership Giving team, the qualifying factors for further assessment to help build the pipeline for Leadership Gifts and Major Gifts. Annual Giving and Alumni Giving In consultation with the Team Leader, develop and implement a comprehensive, annual giving programme. Connect with over 230,000-strong alumni community and 8,000 faculty & staff members to increase participation in the Alumni Giving and Faculty & Staff Giving programmes annually. Collaborate closely with communications and alumni relations staff to ensure that messaging for all annual giving programmes align to the broader communications programme. Work with the communications teams to prepare asks for all current and prospective Annual Giving Programmes. Provide programme leadership and support for the department's annual flagship programme - Best Foot Forward campaign. Identify, evaluate and recommend implementation of industry best practices including new initiatives to maximise retention and acquisition rates and increase annual donations. In collaboration with UAO colleagues, ensure all donors who support the University through the annual giving programmes are provided with exemplary stewardship, and where appropriate, develop new initiatives to recognise, acknowledge and inform annual giving donors across all giving levels. Operational Management and Research Ensure that all appeals and campaigns are compliant with relevant charitable legislation, and University policy and procedure. Report to senior management on a regular basis with a detailed analysis and results of all annual and alumni giving programs against agreed KPIs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Minimum 8 to 10 years of working experience, preferably programme development experience in an advancement role. Demonstrated competency in programme development and management, and product marketing. Have track record of success in programme development and management. Experience in facilitation and management of teams - personnel, volunteers and budget. Ability to work with a diverse constituency of alumni, faculty members, and students. Good interpersonal, communication and excellent writing skills. Working proficiency in a second language would be an advantage, given the need to engage and communicate with alumni and student groups from diverse linguistic communities. Ability to prioritise and plan work activities in an organised manner, able to multi-task and work under pressure.
