Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the overall purpose of this position is to manage several Operations Managers covering key areas such as client liaison, HR/IR matters, fleet management, expense control, investigations and to ensure posting of security officers, compliance with site security requirements, and efficient and professional client service.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent; PSIRA Grade A registered.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transport.
- At least 10 years' experience in the security industry.
- At least 5 years' experience in operational security management.
- Working knowledge of the Firearms Act and firearms competency.
- Staff management experience.
- Computer literacy with expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Clean criminal record with no pending cases.
- Strong planning, administration, interpersonal communication, client liaison skills.
- Leadership and organisational skills with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System.
Key Performance Areas
- Maintain good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the client.
- Manage allocated areas to ensure contractual requirements are met.
- Ensure all security officers meet contractual requirements.
- Evaluate service levels and recommend improvements.
- Supervise security staff to achieve performance targets.
- Handle administration matters.
- Liaise daily with management and regional management on operational matters.
- Deal promptly with HR queries.
- Formulate disciplinary actions.
- Ensure timely submission of employment forms to the Regional Office.
- Submit relevant weekly/monthly incident and general reports.
- Investigate incidents and report findings.
- Sound knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Management System.
