The ideal candidate must be a based in South Africa for this position. Applicants who recently graduated or pursuing final year in electrical, power systems or power engineering field is preferred only! As an Application Engineering Intern, a typical day might include the following: Provide support for communication/automation/protection test beds. Perform testing on existing and new technology. Support Sales and Customer Service and product development activities related to communication/automation/protection. Support applications engineers to develop best practice application guides for SEL technology that provide secure and compliant solutions. Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes. This job might be for you if: You are a fresh graduate or current final year student pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical/Power Engineering. You have the ability to work full time. You have an interest in electrical power systems, protection and control. You have practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Location South Africa - Centurion Interns are integral part our teams and we are invested in coaching and mentoring our interns.
