About The Role
Cater Care Australia is seeking a motivated and reliable Weekend Chef to join our team at an aged care site in Northgate. This hands on role is ideal for a qualified chef looking to grow within a supportive, national organisation while maintaining excellent work life balance.
As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering nutritious, high quality meals for residents and staff. You'll play an important role in ensuring a positive dining experience while maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present fresh, high quality meals for residents and staff
- Assist with bulk meal preparation and daily kitchen operations
- Deliver friendly and efficient service
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well organised kitchen
- Follow food safety and workplace health standards
- Prepare texture modified meals with care and attention
About You
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Experience in bulk cooking or high volume food preparation
- Previous aged care or healthcare catering experience (desirable)
- Strong time management, organisation, and multitasking skills
- Team oriented with clear communication skills
