WEB Developer

Maroela Media is looking for a web developer to support its digital platforms and processes through the development and maintenance of web-based solutions.

Skills that will be beneficial include analytical thinking, the ability to grasp complex concepts, a strong sense of responsibility, creative problem-solving ability, perseverance, good language skills, and an eye for detail. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential. The candidate must be familiar with kanban boards, sprints, and scrum for project management.

The core responsibilities of the position are:

• Development and maintenance of user-friendly web-based platforms to provide an effective user experience.
• Developing systems to make internal processes more efficient.
• Conducting research and experimenting with new technologies to find creative solutions for the media industry.
• Designing and building email-driven newsletters.
• Contributing to the implementation and maintenance of best practices within the team.

This is a permanent position based at Maroela Medias offices on the Voortrekker Monument grounds in Pretoria.
