Introduction

We are looking to recruit a Web Content Coordinator to work within our Digital Marketing Department. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office , Cape Town and will be reporting to the Digital Search & Web Manager.

Job Purpose:

To help manage the website to ensure information is up to date, accessible and effectively endorsed. Support the digital team with the content of website, structure and use of the content management system. To manage and deliver supplier campaigns.

Job Objectives:

  • To publish, edit and update content on the website.
  • To develop, write and edit web pages using computer script.
  • To utilise best practice and emerging website content tools.
  • To analyse and report on web content initiatives and performance.

Education:

  • National Diploma in Marketing, Web Design, Content Management (or relevant discipline)
  • Bachelor of Commerce degree (or relevant discipline, e.g., Marketing)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing (desirable in retail/FMCG marketing), with at least 2 years' experience in web content development
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience using web and web content tools
  • 5 years' experience in marketing (desirable in retail/FMCG marketing), with 3 years in web content development (Desirable)

  • Digital marketing principles, practices and global trends (applied)
  • Website development and tools (expert)

  • Programming and HTML (expert)
  • Copywriting and editing (applied)
  • Web content strategies and best practice (applied)
  • Advanced HTML (Desirable)
