Water Hygiene Engineer - London

Our client is an established water treatment / hygiene company with a reputation for delivering a high standard of legionella and water services to clients throughout the UK. They are now looking to hire an experienced and committed Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the London area. The successful candidate will hold a solid work history and extensive experience working within a water hygiene company. Extensive experience undertaking chlorinations and disinfections would be beneficial to the role. Consideration will be given to applicants from Romford, Dartford, Epsom, Watford, and areas with good access to London and the M25.

• Experience working within a similar role within the water treatment sector.
• Well-versed with the water treatment industry and legislations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• IT proficient - with experience using MS Office package.

• Monitor the client's air and water systems.
• Carry out routine water hygiene duties such as water sampling, temperature monitoring, TMV servicing and shower descales on a range of site types.
• Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
• Deliver temperature monitoring and sampling regimes to a mixed portfolio of site bases.
• Cold water tank cleaning, inspections, replacements.
