Warehouse Manager Operational Management- Strategically manage warehouse operations in alignment with company policies and objectives
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance activities
- Supervise daily operations including inventory control, quality assurance, logistics, and customer service
- Monitor workflow, productivity, and operational performance to maximise efficiency and minimise overtime
- Develop and maintain warehouse systems for handling, storage, inventory control, and shipping
- Manage stock control and ensure alignment with data storage systems
- Maintain inventory accuracy and full material traceability
- Lead the optimisation and continuous improvement of WMS, ERP, and MES systems
- Produce regular operational reports, including inbound/outbound status, dead stock analysis, and inventory accuracy
- Ensure full compliance with all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation
- Maintain ISO, explosives, and ESD compliance standards at all times
- Enforce health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures throughout the warehouse
- Ensure ESD-controlled storage for all electronic components
- Drive risk management practices, including explosive handling protocols and emergency preparedness planning
- Develop and optimise warehouse layouts to ensure efficient space utilisation
- Review and implement workflows, staffing requirements, and equipment layouts
- Prepare, manage, and report on annual budgets
- Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance outcomes
- Lead, mentor, train, and develop warehouse employees at all levels
- Manage team performance to achieve short- and long-term operational goals
- Recruit, select, onboard, and coach warehouse staff
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and transport providers
- Ensure service levels consistently meet internal and external customer expectations
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering
- 5-10 years' experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably within a regulated or high-risk environment
- Minimum 5 years' experience leading and managing warehouse teams
- Strong knowledge of explosives handling and ESD standards
- Proven experience with ERP, WMS, and MES systems
- Advanced safety and regulatory compliance expertise
- Systems thinking and integration capability
