The Fulfilment Assistant will be responsible for receiving,unloading containers, sorting, palletizing, and barcoding merchandise in afast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

General Operations Management

• Directlyoversee daily warehouse and dispatch operations.
  
• Providesupport to the Head of Logistics when required.
  
• Maintainand build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, andstakeholders
  
• Analyseinternal operations, identify areas of process enhancement and introduce andperform processes and checks to ensure effective operations.
  
• Followup on outstanding deliveries with courier partners.
  
• Assistwith alerting management timelous of stock levels and assisting operationalsupply quantities for orders
  

Warehouse duties

• Unloading pallets, boxes and other goods fromcontainers, trucks, and other delivery vehicles.
  
• Scanning and receiving all inbound goods intothe warehouse
  
• Correctly picking orders as per the issued pickingslips, either via the mobile device or manual picking slips.
  
• Packaging and labelling orders for transportpurposes.
  
• Creating courier labels in line with eachclients defined shipping policy.
  
• Stacking and organizing freight in a safemanner within the warehouse.
  
• Keeping warehouse clean, organised and goodscorrectly stored in allocated locations at all times.
  
• Barcoding inbound freight where applicable.
  
• Receiving and processing returns as per each clients standard operating procedure.
  
• Ensuring all inbound receipts, orders picked,orders dispatched, and orders returned are logged in the warehouse managementsystem.
  

Other duties

• Asdirected, undertake other duties which are incidental and peripheral to the keyresponsibilities, provided that such duties are reasonably within therequirements and responsibilities of the position.
  

• Must be South African Citizen
  
• Preference will be given to those with a background in last-mile logistics/shipping, Fulfilment services, or Multi client warehouse solutions.
  
• Grade 12 or similar qualification
  
• Forklift or any warehouse certificates advantageous
  
• Experience handling high volumes of picking and packing for multiple clients
  
• Strong attention to detail and admin follow-through
  
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
  
• Comfortable using CRM systems, Office programs and Courier platforms
  
• Must have the ability/reliability to be warehouse based
