Overview

We currently have a vacancy for the position of Warehouse Assistant (Late Shift), based at our Warehouse in the West Rand. Overall purpose of the job: To perform various tasks within the Warehouse. This is a late shift position and the candidate must be able to work late shift hours, must reside in the West Rand or Soweto.

Responsibilities
  • Picking, packing, and checking of stock.
  • Replenishing of stock.
  • General Warehouse housekeeping.
  • Loading and unloading of products.
  • Handle Delicate and fragile products in warehouse.
  • Assist with receiving of stock and check that stock received is correct.
  • Prepare products for shipment or delivery when required.
  • Assist with deliveries and collections to and from customers when required.
Qualifications, skills and attributes
  • Grade 12/Matric (or equivalent) Essential
  • Warehouse and distribution working experience Essential.
  • Experience working Late shift /Shifts Essential
  • Forklift certification (highly beneficial).
  • Computer literate (Advantage).
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent Mathematical and literacy skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Dependable individual.
