Job Description

Key Responsibilties:
  • Implement in-store VM execution
  • Be in touch with latest Fashion Trends
  • Adhere to housing and trend guidelines
  • Manage the visual elements and ensure world-class standards
  • Plan and prioritize visual activities
  • Implement adequate control systems to manage VM standards
  • Deliver a great Customer Brand Experience
  • Manage Assets & Expense
Experience and Qualification:
  • Matric (National Senior Certificate)
  • A Diploma or Certificate in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design, or a related creative/retail field would be favourable
  • 3+ years of experience in visual merchandising within a retail environment
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing visual merchandising strategies across stores
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles, techniques and practices
  • Knowledge of current and emerging VM trends, colour theory, and lighting techniques
  • Knowledge of product storytelling and how to translate marketing messages into visual displays
  • Proficiency in Google platforms, Microsoft, Word and Excel
  • Strong team skills, with the ability to communicate across head office, field and store teams & external suppliers
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication, able to provide instructions and feedback effectively
  • Effective in prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic retail environment
  • Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities, store needs, and campaign requirements
  • Competent in using relevant software and digital communication tools
