Vacancy: Canteen Manager - Cape Town, Western Cape

Our Client, a leader in the Catering and Hospitality Industry, seeks to employ a Canteen Manager to join their dynamic team. Applicants need to reside in and around the Cape Town area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the profitable management and operation of the site canteen in accordance with the Company's Policies and Procedures. The candidate should be able to quickly adapt and align with the Company's culture and brands, demonstrate leadership skills, and foster an environment of service and product excellence. Developing strong relationships within the Company and with clients is essential.

• Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with the Health and Safety Act.
• Manage daily operations of the canteen.
• Manage canteen staff effectively.
• Oversee stock levels and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
• Manage catering services for functions when required.
• Prepare and cook food as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Serve customers, staff, and students efficiently.
• Handle and reconcile financial transactions accurately.

• Grade 12 (Twelve).
• At least 3 (Three) years of management experience in a similar role.
• Minimum of 1 (One) year of experience in the Catering and Hospitality Industry.
• Demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Adapt to changing work environments.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Available to start immediately.
• No criminal record.
