Job Description

Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote

Client's Industry: Media Production / Creative Agency

Work Timezone: United Kingdom

Compensation: $2,000 - $2,500 /month USD

About the Role & Client:

Our client, Pulse Films is looking for an elite Treatment Designer to help them win new business by transforming pitches, scripts, and brand concepts into visually stunning, narrative-driven treatments.

This role sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, and culture. You will take abstract ideas-briefs, decks, scripts, and creative direction-and turn them into beautifully crafted visual treatments that communicate vision, tone, and execution with absolute clarity. Your work will directly influence client decisions and play a critical role in winning competitive pitches.

If you've designed treatments for advertising agencies, production companies, or creative studios-and your decks have helped close meaningful work-this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design best-in-class pitch treatments that visually communicate creative concepts, tone, and execution
  • Translate scripts, briefs, and high-level ideas into compelling visual narratives
  • Own the visual direction of treatments from concept through final delivery
  • Curate and source imagery, GIFs, reference frames, archival footage, old film clips, and music references to support the creative vision
  • Collaborate closely with directors, creative directors, producers, and strategy teams during the pitch process
  • Build layouts that feel cinematic, intentional, and emotionally resonant-not templated or generic
  • Maintain consistency in design quality while adapting to different brand voices and categories
  • Turn around high-quality work under tight timelines without sacrificing craft
Required Experience & Skills
  • 5-7+ years of experience designing treatments for advertising agencies, creative studios, production companies, or similar environments
  • Proven experience creating pitch decks that have won new client business
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign, with strong working knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
  • Exceptional visual taste and typography skills
  • Deep resourcefulness in sourcing compelling reference material (imagery, motion, archival content, music inspiration)
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to interpret creative direction and elevate it visually
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Portfolio Requirements

Applicants must have a strong portfolio showcasing:

  • Treatment design work (not just general graphic design)
  • Projects created for agencies, studios, or commercial production
  • Evidence of concept-to-execution thinking
  • A refined, cinematic, and contemporary visual style
What Success Looks Like
  • Your treatments clearly articulate the creative vision before a single frame is shot
  • Clients "get it" instantly-and feel confident choosing Pulse Films
  • Creative directors trust you to elevate ideas visually without over-explaining
  • Your work helps Pulse Films consistently win competitive pitches
