Travel Designer: Luxury African Travel

TravelHouse Africa is based in Cape Town, South Africa and was founded by Billy Hare & Ingo Brüggemann. Our team of expert travel planners have personally experienced every destination we offer. We are reliable, competent travel partners in Africa with a network of carefully selected suppliers in every corner of the continent to ensure that our clients' most valuable time of the year is well spent. We currently have a position available for a travel planner who loves the idea of joining a young entrepreneurial travel business. Our team is growing and our ambition is to consistently deliver the best African travel experiences. This role will eventually cover everything from the original planning stages of each client's travel, the preparation of the traveler for their journey and delivery of each aspect of the itinerary as well as any post travel services. You will not only be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients but also with service providers.

• Design and presentation of new tailored travel itineraries to sell iconic African destinations to travellers around the world.
• Plan from the original concept through to delivery of each client's travel itinerary and post-travel services.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and service providers.

• Min 3 years experience as a travel planner in an inbound environment
• Southern and ideally East African travel product knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Enthusiastic and motivated to learn
• Knowledge of travel booking systems or previous experience in the travel industry is a plus
