Location: Midrand, South Africa (On-site)
Salary: Market Related (R15,000 - R20,000)
Reporting to: The Human Resources Manager

Job PurposeWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Training Officer with a strong background in life insurance within the contact centres environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering sales-focused training programmes that equip our team with the skills needed to convert leads and sell life insurance products effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and practical training sessions focused on life insurance sales within a contact centre environment.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and ongoing product, systems, and process training.
- Train staff on lead conversion techniques and client engagement best practices.
- Design training content, manuals, role plays, and assessments tailored to the sales environment.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, coaching, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders, Sales Managers, and QA to identify training gaps and improvement areas.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on training impact and staff development progress.
- Foster a positive learning environment and promote continuous professional development.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience facilitating training in a life insurance environment.
- Experience working in a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) setting is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience training on sales techniques, objection handling, and lead conversion.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and call centre systems.
- Prefer bachelor's Graduate Degree + Other tertiary qualifications is required; a relevant qualification in Training & Development, Insurance, or Sales is an added advantage.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coach and motivate staff
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Analytical and able to assess training needs and outcomes
- A proactive and hands on approach to training delivery
- This is a full-time on-site position based in Midrand, South Africa.
- The role requires availability for scheduled training sessions, including occasional Saturdays.
