Trade Marketing Assistant

Location: Epping, Cape Town.

• Reports to: Trade Marketing Manager

• Support the Trade Marketing Manager with development and execution of Trade Point of Sale plans and New Product Launches in order to deliver desired brand and business results.
• Manage Merchandising Units in 3rd Party Warehouse and Distribution Centre.
• Book all 3rd Party trade support activity planned by Trade Marketing example, In-store POS placements and Promoter bookings.
• Deliver all information required for a New Product Listing like Customer Product Listing Documents and NPD Trade Launch Kits.
• Support Trade Marketing Manager in preparations for Sales Cycle Brief meetings, Customer Trade shows and Beauty Consultant Training events.
• Coordinate and deliver all Customer broadsheet and E-commerce artwork as planned by Trade Marketing and Key Accounts Departments.
• Manage all Purchase Order numbers (PO's) and support overall budget management.
• Work alongside Trade Marketing Manager with POS suppliers on Briefings, Quotations, Samples, Production timelines and delivery.

• Minimum 2-3 years' working experience in one of the following environments:
  • Trade Marketing
  • Brand Management
  • Shopper Marketing or Sales

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Media or equivalent is required.

• Exposure to Omni/digital marketing would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP / MS Office would be advantageous.
• Own transport is required.
