Summary:

This role entails providing high quality repairs and maintenance of food service equipment to ourclients.

Reports to: After-Sales Technical Manager

Responsibilities:

General
  • Listen to customer concerns and communicate all job-related topics in an efficient and comprehensive manner.
  • Attend to emergency calls on equipment repair issues.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance workers, company's officials, and staff to effectively provide solutions to repair or maintenance problems.
Maintenance, Faultfindingand Repairs
  • Technical fault/problemdiagnosis on site, remotely or atour customers' site.
  • Provide on-site repairs, maintenance, installations, off-site remote troubleshooting on a wide variety of commercial catering and food service equipment.
  • Read andcomprehendwiring diagrams, follow manuals on operation and installation
  • Carry out periodic inspection, cleaning, and equipment servicing.
  • Prioritize repair queue.
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety during repairs.
Repairs Administration
  • Document service calls, travel logs and any ad-hoc/emergency after hour repair work.
  • Document all repairs done according to the standard procedures.
  • Report to the Technical Manager on all repair work in progress and completed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Qualified as a Refrigeration Technician
  • Minimum of N3 in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3-5 years of workshop / repair experience
  • Knowledge and experience within the food service and catering equipment industry
  • Good Administration and basic Computer skills (Emails, Word, Excel)
  • Valid South African driver's license.
  • Commercial refrigeration and HVAC-advantageous
