They partner with world-class vendors including Microsoft and Sysdig to deliver transformative managed services to their clients. As they scale their offerings across Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, Managed Services and AI services, they are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Executive to join their growing team.
The RoleAs a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business and growing existing accounts across their core service lines - Microsoft 365 and associated services, Sysdig cloud security, and their expanding portfolio of AI and managed services. You will be a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate their digital transformation journey with the right solutions at the right time.
This is a hunter-first role with strong relationship management expectations. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to close and handover to our delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities- Drive new business across target markets in South Africa, with a focus on mid-market and enterprise accounts
- Sell and position Microsoft 365 licensing, migration services, Modern Workplace solutions, and associated professional services
- Develop and grow Sysdig cloud-native security opportunities, working alongside technical pre-sales support
- Introduce and articulate AI services and broader managed services portfolio as these offerings mature
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline using CRM tools, accurately forecasting revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Develop relationships with Microsoft and Sysdig partner teams to leverage co-sell opportunities and partner programmes
- Collaborate closely with technical pre-sales, delivery, and marketing teams to shape compelling proposals and solutions
- Represent at industry events, partner days, and customer engagements
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- 5+ years of B2B technology sales experience, ideally within a Microsoft Partner, MSP, or IT solutions provider
- Demonstrated track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets
- Experience selling Microsoft 365 or broader Microsoft cloud solutions (Azure, Modern Workplace, Security) is essential
- Exposure to cybersecurity solutions (Sysdig, Defender, CrowdStrike, or similar) is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with managed services sales models and recurring revenue (MRR/ARR)
- Strong consultative selling skills - able to diagnose customer needs and map them to solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing, evolving environment
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
- Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, IT, or a related field (advantageous, not essential)
- Microsoft certifications or sales accreditations (e.g. MS-900, SC-900) are a plus
