Technical Illustrator/Technical Manual Designer

• Diploma or Certificate in Technical Illustration, Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or similar
• 3-5 years' experience in technical illustration and manual design within a manufacturing or heavy-equipment environment
• Produce accurate 2D/3D technical illustrations (exploded views, assemblies, schematics) for underground mining machinery
• Proven experience producing manuals for mechanical or industrial machinery
• Proficient in SolidWorks Composer, SolidWorks / Inventor, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator & InDesign
• Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies and engineering drawings
• Excellent written and visual communication skills (English)
• Design and compile operator manuals, maintenance & service manuals, parts catalogues, and technical training documentation
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and BOMs to ensure technical accuracy
• Ensure documentation complies with OEM standards, MHSA requirements, and internal quality systems
• Liaise with Engineering, Production, Service, and Training teams to gather technical input
• Maintain document control, version management, and updates aligned with engineering changes
