Fibre Planner

We are looking for a Fibre Planner to join our team in the Southern Suburbs of JHB. As a Fibre Planner, you will be responsible for capacity planning within the Information Technology sector. This role requires 4-6 years of experience in the field and a Diploma qualification

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Plan and design fibre networks
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient network capacity
• Conduct periodic audits and assessments
• Provide technical support and guidance
• Plan and design OSP fiber routes for existing builds, upgrades or expansions
• Ensure designs follow engineering standards.
• Prepare design files and construction ready documentation.
• Identify environmental and physical constraints.
• Adhere to customers quality standards and project specifications.
• Provide technical support during build phases and address design related
  queries.
• Validate as-built data and update network records after construction.
