In South Africa, we have a workforce of over 450 staff.About the roleReporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensure that production machines run effectively and efficiently in line with performance standards.
- Ensure machines are running according to cycle time
- Supervising packaging instruction.
- Minimise downtime by proactively addressing downtime reasons
- Ensure Production reports are completed correctly and accurately
- Ensure line clearance is applied and effective.
- Supervising of trimming procedures.
- Actively promoting housekeeping in area of responsibility.
- Report any quality defects to the Production Supervisor and Quality Inspector.
- Report any problems on machines to the Production Supervisor
- Ensure hoppers are filled continuously as per SOP.
- Compliance to standard operating procedures.
- Adherence to safe working procedures.
- Complete and accurate completion of production performance measurements
- National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)
- Leadership training - advantageous
- 5 Years' working experience in an Injection Moulding environment
- Leadership Skills
- Previous experience as a Team leader
- Effective communication skills in English (Verbal and Written)
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to work Shifts and Overtime
