Team Leader - Cardrona-TC & RealNZ Visitor Centres, Whakatipu
Job Description
Step into a leadership role at the heart of Queenstown's tourism and alpine scene. This is your chance to lead a passionate team, drive sales, and deliver unforgettable guest experiences across RealNZ Visitor Centres and Cardrona-Treble Cone Queenstown based Store.
This dynamic, year-round role gives you the best of both worlds, winter in the mountains and summer in tourism. You'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, supporting your team, and ensuring every guest interaction is exceptional.
As part of this role you will:
- Lead and support frontline teams to deliver exceptional guest service
- Act as the go to person on site for operational coordination and team support
- Drive sales of RealNZ experiences and Cardrona Treble Cone products
- Help recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members
- Manage rostering, staffing coverage, and daily operations
- Handle guest queries and resolve issues with confidence and care
- Build strong relationships across teams and partner operations
- Contribute ideas to improve performance, processes, and team culture

What are we looking for in you?
- Proven leadership experience in a customer facing environment
- Background in Tourism or Ski industry with retail and rentals experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and a drive to achieve sales results
- A positive, hands on attitude and the ability to lead by example
