Team Leader - Cardrona-TC & RealNZ Visitor Centres, Whakatipu

Step into a leadership role at the heart of Queenstown's tourism and alpine scene. This is your chance to lead a passionate team, drive sales, and deliver unforgettable guest experiences across RealNZ Visitor Centres and Cardrona-Treble Cone Queenstown based Store.
This dynamic, year-round role gives you the best of both worlds, winter in the mountains and summer in tourism. You'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, supporting your team, and ensuring every guest interaction is exceptional.

As part of this role you will:

  • Lead and support frontline teams to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Act as the go to person on site for operational coordination and team support
  • Drive sales of RealNZ experiences and Cardrona Treble Cone products
  • Help recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members
  • Manage rostering, staffing coverage, and daily operations
  • Handle guest queries and resolve issues with confidence and care
  • Build strong relationships across teams and partner operations
  • Contribute ideas to improve performance, processes, and team culture

  • Proven leadership experience in a customer facing environment
  • Background in Tourism or Ski industry with retail and rentals experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commercial awareness and a drive to achieve sales results
  • A positive, hands on attitude and the ability to lead by example
