Job Description
Career opportunity: Talent Acquisition Administrator based at our Head Office in Tygervalley (Cape Town). Reporting to a Talent Acquisition Lead, the role involves supporting the recruitment and onboarding functions to meet business objectives.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the sourcing and hiring process.
- Support recruiters in short listing junior level roles where agreed.
- Diary management.
- Manage the scheduling and coordination of interviews with candidates and interview panels.
- Facilitate the coordination and execution of employment checks, including FAIS (DOFA - Date of First Appointment) checks, ensuring compliance and legislative requirements are met.
- Manage the coordination, scheduling, and delivery of assessment administration and feedback with candidates and assessment partners within agreed service level agreements.
- Ensure understanding and adherence to recruitment and reward benefits policies, processes, and procedures.
- Manage and facilitate completion of onboarding activities with new hires through the system, ensuring superior quality standards before submission of documentation for payroll processing to the shared service centre.
- Ensure hiring manager onboarding activities are completed and provide monthly reporting on onboarding activity to recruiters.
- Ensure timely provision of pay codes to business to enable a smooth hiring experience for new hires on start date.
- Manage monthly qualification submission to shared services partner and track qualification submissions against reporting.
- Ensure new hire list is shared with the Talent Acquisition Co ordinator on a monthly basis to support Total Rewards benefit session and Corporate Induction scheduling.
- Ensure recruitment and onboarding record management (docu file) process is executed.
- Reporting and record keeping.
- Coordination of audits.
- Assist with administration related to recruitment projects.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum HR National Diploma or relevant qualification.
- 2-3 years' experience in an HR administrative role.
- Preference given to candidates with Recruitment / Talent Acquisition Document Administration experience.
- Previous experience with cloud based or digital recruitment and onboarding platforms is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
Skills, knowledge and attributes
- Knowledge, understanding and application of relevant employment legislation (BCEA, EEA, LRA, POPIA and FAIS).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team oriented focus with the ability to deliver on individual and team priorities, work under pressure against tight deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Analytical and resolution driven.
- Information monitoring and facilitation.
