Background / Description

Pay-as-you-go SME bridges the gap between IT and business, focusing on Fibre to the home pay-as-you-go sales, billing and customer-facing systems. This role involves gathering and translating business requirements-particularly from the product team-into functional specifications, collaborating closely with development teams, and ensuring solutions are delivered effectively through end-to-end testing. This individual will also provide support for these platforms as needed.

Duties / Responsibilities Requirement Gathering & Analysis
  • Collaborate with Product and business stakeholders to understand their objectives, translating complex needs into detailed functional specifications.
  • Work closely with Product teams on projects related to mobile app development and customer-facing systems.
  • Analyze, document, and maintain API workflows, including data mappings and integration points across platforms.
Project Delivery & Documentation
  • Lead IT-related projects by creating and managing detailed project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring milestones are met.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable deliverables for the development team, ensuring alignment with technical capabilities.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including API endpoint specifications, user guides, and process flows.
Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including developing test cases, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
  • Identify, track, and resolve system defects, ensuring system stability and data accuracy across platforms.
Platform Support & Maintenance
  • Provide technical support for pay-as-you-go platforms such as Splynx.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues, coordinating with technical teams and vendors as required.
Stakeholder Communication & Change Management
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and outcomes to senior management through reports, presentations, and regular stakeholder engagement.
  • Facilitate change management by providing clear documentation, assisting with implementation, and ensuring user adoption through training and support.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with developers, Product teams, and product owners to ensure that business goals are accurately translated into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards and on-time delivery.
Minimum Qualification Requirements Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis-preferably within the telecommunications or product development technology space.
  • Experience working with pay-as-you-go billing automation platforms (e.g., Splynx) is highly advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of API concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (General select queries, stores procedures, views).
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
Soft Skills & Capabilities
  • Exceptional communication skills-able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working with customer-facing systems and supporting pay-as-you-go initiatives within an IT & System environment.
