- To bring forth critical Business Intelligence from multiples of process data information that cuts across all Transnet Engineering Business units.
- Implement solutions that require extraction, transformation and loading of key data from various sources into target platforms.
- To analyse and understand critical reporting business requirements and interpret data into information the business can use in critical decision making process.
- Provide day to day support regarding the SAP Financial modules to the financial users.
- Provide end user training.
- Provide Business Re engineering support and initiatives to the Business.
- Perform end to end project implementations according to Transnet Engineering methodology which is aligned with international practices of project management.
- Complies with and enforces standard company policies and procedures.
- Supporting and performing an advisory role to business users and SAP specialists who require changes within SAP.
- Have an excellent knowledge on the SAP Finance module.
- Develop all necessary training material and manuals.
- Understand SAP Methodology by providing Application lifecycle management principles.
- Responsible for the Planning, (developing,) configuring, implementation, maintain and support of the Finance module.
- Interact with business users to define and re design business processes and identify corresponding solution requirements, while establishing appropriate expectations and controlling scope.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and priorities effectively.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and provide innovative solutions.
- Define user requirements and document user requirements specifications in a functional specification.
- Define user acceptance test cases and manage the users through the process.
- Actively participate in SAP problem solving activities.
- Create documents, presentations, and training material that can be used to establish buy in and launch the solution successfully.
- Implement methodologies, standards and processes on all projects to ensure consistent quality.
- Master data upload using LSMW and mapping authorization requirement.
- Facilitate the rollout of processes and other training within SAP and business operations.
- Be the subject matter expert for SAP Financial modules and make sure proper training is conducted.
- Responsible for understanding workload priorities and managing tasks.
- Support day to day operation of SAP PS module.
- Developed PS master data including Project Definition, Project Profile, WBS, Networks.
- Worked with project profile, budget profile, status profile, Investment profile, settlement.
- Involved in creation of user defined reports for PS using ABAP team.
- National Diploma qualification in Information Technology, Finance, or Business Management.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in SAP FICO.
- Minimum 1 year in Supervisory or Specialist experience.
- SAP Certification will be an added advantage.

- Minimum 6 years experience in SAP FICO.
- Minimum 2 years' in Supervisory or Specialist experience.
