Job Description

The Surveillance & Security Officer is responsible for monitoring and safeguarding all gaming operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls. This role focuses on maintaining the security, integrity, and compliance of gaming related operations, through real-time surveillance, security interventions, incident investigations, and procedural audits. Officers play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential risks while maintaining accurate documentation and upholding the highest standards of security and operational compliance.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12
  • Grade B PSIRA registration;
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming Licence;
  • 1 year experience in Surveillance and Gaming Security operations;
  • Knowledge of GGB rules and regulations;
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Main Resposibilites
  • Ensure the integrity and security of all gaming operations by maintaining continuous surveillance and enforcing compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Protect assets and monitor high-risk areas to prevent fraud, theft, and procedural breaches.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, disputes, and emergencies, providing evidence-based support for investigations and regulatory reporting.
  • Control access to restricted zones, oversee secure movement of gaming assets, and maintain accurate logs for audit purposes.
  • Uphold operational readiness through equipment checks, emergency preparedness, and adherence to safety protocols, always ensuring a secure and compliant gaming environment.
