About the Supply Chain & Fulfillment Team

The Supply Chain & Fulfillment function at Yoco ensures that our products move efficiently and reliably from suppliers to our merchants, in the quickest possible timeframe. It plays a critical role in balancing cost, service, and inventory by managing the flow of goods across procurement, warehouse systems, and distribution.

About the role

The Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for the end to end operational control and performance of Yoco's supply chain execution, covering inventory, fulfilment, warehousing, logistics, and local supplier delivery.

This role focuses on operational excellence, cost control, service reliability, and inventory accuracy, ensuring that the supply chain operates predictably and efficiently at scale. The role is accountable for ensuring that day to day operations consistently meet business, customer, and financial expectations.

What you will be doing

1. End-to-End Supply Chain Operations Management

  • Translates the strategic roadmap & priorities for supply chain into actionable, measurable deliverables across the team

  • Own the operational performance of inventory, fulfilment, and warehouse activities

  • Ensure consistent execution of inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns processes

  • Oversee operational capacity planning and workflow management

2. Inventory Governance & Stock Control

  • Ensure strict inventory governance across all stock locations

  • Own inventory accuracy, reconciliation processes, and cycle counting discipline

  • Manage stock movements, adjustments, and variance investigations

3. Warehousing, Logistics & Reverse Logistics Oversight

  • Oversee inbound logistics, warehousing operations, outbound dispatch, and returns handling

  • Ensure quality control across receiving, storage, refurbishment, and dispatch

  • Maintain operational standards that minimise damage, delays, and losses

4. Supplier & Logistics Partner Performance

  • Manage operational relationships with logistics, courier, and warehousing partners

  • Track and review supplier performance against agreed service levels

  • Address operational issues and ensure reliable supplier execution

5. Operational Systems & Data Accuracy

  • Ensure effective day to day use of supply chain systems (ERP, WMS, inventory tools)

  • Maintain strong operational data integrity and stock visibility

  • Work with Finance and Technology teams to ensure accurate reporting

6. Operational Performance Management

  • Define and track operational KPIs across inventory, fulfilment, warehousing, and logistics

  • Monitor performance trends and drive corrective actions

  • Lead operational reviews with supply chain leadership

7. Team Leadership & Operational Discipline

  • Lead and develop the inventory, fulfilment, and warehouse coordination teams

  • Ensure strong adherence to operational processes and controls

  • Build a high accountability culture focused on accuracy and reliability

About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field

  • Postgraduate qualification or MBA advantageous

  • 7+ years experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management roles with people management responsibility is a requirement

  • Strong experience with ERP and WMS systems (NetSuite experience is essential)

  • Proven experience managing inventory, fulfilment, and warehouse operations

  • Demonstrated financial acumen in relation to supply chain economics

  • Strong operational leadership and team management capability

  • Deep understanding of inventory control, fulfilment processes, and logistics operations

  • Highly detail oriented with strong operational and financial discipline
