Overview

The Studio Manager is responsible for ensuring the studio has adequate resources to carry out its work, and that the projects undertaken are realistic and manageable within the available resources. The role involves managing and overseeing people, equipment, workflow and quality assurance.

The successful candidate will also recruit staff and freelancers, provide induction, optimize roles, skills and procedures to maximize studio efficiency and quality. The manager ensures that the technical infrastructure functions correctly and arranges for maintenance, upgrades, repairs and replacement of consumables as necessary. In addition, the Studio Manager often participates in individual projects alongside a Project Manager.

Client Interface

Applicants must have experience dealing with clients and be comfortable in client-facing situations.
