The Customer Experience Assistant plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to students and visitors.
This role supports day to day operations, ensures smooth communication, and helps create a welcoming and responsive environment.
Customer Interaction- Greet and assist students, parents, and guests with professionalism and warmth
- Respond to queries via phone, email, WhatsApp, or in person
- Guide students through check in/check out processes and residence policies
- Handle complaints or concerns with empathy and elevate when necessary
- Handle delivery packages and deliver to students
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and feedback
- Assist with booking systems, room allocations, and even RSVPs
- Update CRM platforms and ensure data integrity
- Support marketing efforts by collecting testimonials or survey responses
- Organise and promote residence events and wellness initiatives
- Encourage student participation in feedback forums and suggestion boxes
- Act as a liaison between students and management to improve services
- Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements
- Follow up with students to ensure satisfaction after issue resolution

- Matric certificate required; diploma in Hospitality, Communications, or Business preferred
- 1-2 years' experience in customer service, hospitality, or student support
- Familiarity with student accommodation or campus life is a plus
- Multilingual abilities (especially local South African languages) are advantageous
- Passion for youth development and student well being
- Creative flair for event planning or social media engagement
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends during peak periods
