Structural Foreman - High Rise Buildings

Location: Head office- Durbanville, with some sites within the Paarl and Cape Town area.

Our client, a reputable construction company specialising in high-rise residential and commercial developments, is seeking a skilled Structural Foreman to lead and supervise structural teams on complex high-rise building projects.

• Supervise and direct on-site structural work including formwork, reinforcement, and concrete placement in high-rise buildings.
• Coordinate and manage daily activities of structural workers ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on site.
• Monitor materials and equipment usage and report shortages or issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate and timely records including daily progress reports and labor attendance.
• Train and mentor junior staff and laborers for skill development and safety awareness.

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Structural Foreman on high-rise building projects (at least 10 storeys).
• Previous employment at a reputable construction company(e.g. WBHO, H I, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete construction methods and standards.
• Proven ability to manage and lead site teams effectively.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and site practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
