Senior Procurement Buyer

A well-established organisation within the property and built environment sector is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Buyer to manage strategic procurement activities across multiple construction and development projects. The role is responsible for sourcing construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services while driving supplier performance, procurement efficiencies, and cost optimisation across project operations.

Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Construction Management, or related qualification
  • 8-10 years' procurement experience within the construction, property, or building environment
  • Proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and procurement planning
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, project timelines, and ERP procurement systems
  • Valid Driver's License
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle across multiple projects
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Monitor procurement budgets, supplier performance, stock levels, and delivery schedules
  • Prepare procurement reports, supplier evaluations, and cost analyses
  • Drive procurement improvements, operational efficiencies, and cost saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with company and project requirements.
