Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IT procurement strategies to support business objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of IT solutions.
  • Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation in the retail industry.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand IT requirements and align procurement activities accordingly.
  • Negotiate contracts with IT suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain high standards.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
  • Support the Procurement & Supply Chain department's strategic goals.
The Successful Applicant
  • A proven track record in IT procurement within the retail industry
  • Strong knowledge of procurement strategies and supplier management.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and cost management.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and drive innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A degree or qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
