Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure quality management (request, receive, store, maintain and distribution) of stock to various hospital departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
  • Perform the receiving function for stock procurement
  • Issuing of Stock (Store Clerk logistical role)
  • Stock balance review and stock takes
  • Organisation of store
REQUIRED EDUCATION

DESIRED EDUCATION: Relevant Certificates and/or Short Courses

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience in an Inventory / Procurement / Stock Control environment
  • DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in a similar role / Healthcare environment / SAP proficiency
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • SAP Accounting Software
  • Stock management processes
  • Receipt and distribution of stock
  • Occupational Health and Safety
