Purpose Statement
  • To develop and execute tactical plans based on the Purpose Lending strategy and business plan in order to achieve business and financial objectives and meet the needs of external and internal clients. The role supports the achievement of sales, service, and financial objectives by delivering an excellent experience to both external customers and internal stakeholders.
Experience

Minimum

  • 5+ year's client service experience within a retail / financial services / banking environment.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in an operational management role within a retail / financial services / banking environment.
  • Experience in selling - ideally Purpose Products - Home loans.
  • Client/Customer engagement and interaction

Ideal:

  • Prior industry experience - Home Improvement, Education, Medical or other forms of embedded finance will be advantageous.
  • Direct experience in Home Loans, Mortgage Lending, or Property Finance.
  • Experience working with home loan applications, credit assessments, and property-related processes.
  • Exposure to digital or branch-based home loan sales channels.
Qualifications (Minimum)
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce
Knowledge

Minimum:

  • Knowledge of Purpose Lending products (features, benefits etc) and the processes required to sell these products.
  • Familiarity with the sales cycle and the tools used to manage the processes (e.g., CRM software).
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices to effectively address customer inquiries and issues.
  • Awareness of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide relevant support to the team.

Ideal:

  • Knowledge of Capitec systems and sales channels.
  • Knowledge of Capitec Operational and Support structures.
