What You'll Be Doing

Special Projects & Event Management

  • Coordinate and execute a wide range of special projects, events, and incentive related initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects at once while maintaining exceptional organisation, quality, and follow through.

Supplier & Network Engagement

  • Work closely with a trusted network of suppliers, partners, and service providers.
  • Build strong professional relationships to secure the best options, rates, and experiences.

Financial & Cost Management

  • Apply cost savvy decision making to keep projects and itineraries within budget.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and monitor expenditure to maximise value and maintain profitability.

Travel Support for Incentive Groups

  • Travel with corporate or incentive groups when required.
  • Provide on site coordination, support, and issue resolution to ensure flawless execution.
Qualifications & Expertise
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • 3-5 years' experience in the tourism industry
  • Travel & Tourism qualification (advantageous)
  • Tourplan knowledge (highly advantageous)

African Travel & Product Expertise

  • Strong, hands on knowledge of African destinations: Southern, East, West Africa, South Africa, and Madagascar.
  • Ability to design and refine high end, complex itineraries.
  • Deep understanding of accommodation, logistics, experiences, and supplier networks across the continent.

Professional Skills & Technical Competence

  • Excellent Excel skills (non negotiable)
  • Strong research abilities, including the use of AI tools
  • High organisational ability with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Tourplan experience (advantageous)

Client & Supplier Engagement

  • Confident communicator with strong professional etiquette
  • Client centric approach with exceptional listening skills
  • Comfortable supporting onsite travel for groups when required

  • Cost savvy with strong initiative and flexibility
  • Comfortable handling unexpected requests and shifting priorities
