Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Site Supervisor / Project Manager with daily site operations
Supervise subcontractors and installation teams on-site
Ensure work is carried out according to drawings and specifications
Monitor daily progress and report on site activities

Site Supervision & Coordination

Assist the Site Supervisor / Project Manager with daily site operations
Supervise subcontractors and installation teams on-site
Ensure work is carried out according to drawings and specifications
Monitor daily progress and report on site activities

Quality Control

Check installation quality of aluminium frames, glass panels, and façade systems
Ensure correct materials and components are used
Report defects or snags and ensure they are resolved

Health & Safety

Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act)
Enforce use of PPE and safe work practices
Identify and report hazards on-site
Assist with toolbox talks and safety briefings

Planning & Logistics

Assist with planning daily tasks and labour allocation
Coordinate material deliveries and ensure correct quantities on-site
Monitor stock usage and report shortages

Documentation & Reporting

Keep daily site reports and progress updates
Record attendance of workers and subcontractors
Assist with maintaining site documentation and safety file

Client & Team Communication

Liaise with site management, contractors, and internal teams
Escalate issues or delays to senior supervisors
Maintain professional communication on-site
