Our Client is seeking a Shift Supervisor - Plate Making to join their manufacturing team at the Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising production and maintenance operations to ensure targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved.

Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Technical / Production Certificate (NQF 5)
  • Diploma in Technical / Production field - advantageous
  • Trade Test - advantageous
  • 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing / production environment
  • Minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP / ERP preferred)
Job Duties
  • Supervise plant production and maintenance activities
  • Ensure production targets and quality standards are met
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance and minimise downtime
  • Enforce Health & Safety and company procedures
  • Manage and develop staff performance
  • Monitor costs and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
