Main purpose:Ensure satisfactory utilization of labour and material resources to support customer requirements.
Job objectives:Shadow and/or support Shift Leader in the following:
Elimination of waste- Record and manage total units produced to meet targets.
- Accurately measure, record, and manage Change Over time/Lost.
- Minimise, measure, and record Unplanned Overtime to meet targets.
- Monitor & control the usage of PPE & Consumables.
- Effective management & deployment of resources.
- Evaluate rejects root cause and create plans for discussion with management to reduce or eliminate losses within your control and act accordingly.
- Improve production within areas of control.
- Manage, improve & promote 5S in the plant according to the 5S Audit Sheet.
- Ensure PPE Issued and Correct Usage and follow SHEMS Procedures.
- Ensure incident reports are filled in timeously. Manage, improve & meet safety targets within the working area.
- Perform machine/equipment safety checks.
- Ensure parts produced meet quality specifications.
- Manage & reduce the outflow of defective components.
- Ensure stock is available for production.
- Monitor, report and action any timekeeping/absenteeism concerns to reduce absenteeism and meet targets.
- Complete and Submit payroll information.
- Responsible for personal attendance and ensure it is 98% on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure Performance Management is conducted on all team members.
- Conduct & Evaluate on the job Training.
- All Ramsay members including Management.

- Supervisory Experience
- 6 Months Experience with ME deployment (Advantageous)
- Quality Experience
- 1 to 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- National Senior Certificate (Critical)
- Supply Chain Or A Relevant (Advantageous)
